Authority and supervision
- The extension office is established under the supervision of the Department of Transportation (DOTr).
- The operationalization of the extension office is included in the DOTr’s program through action by the Secretary of the DOTr.
Establishment of LTO extension office
- Section 1 establishes an extension office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in the Municipality of Infanta, Province of Quezon.
- The extension office is specifically positioned as an LTO facility serving local and neighboring transport-related public needs within its designated service coverage.
Service coverage and beneficiaries
- The extension office caters to the needs of people from all barangays of the Municipality of Infanta.
- The extension office also serves people from the neighboring municipalities of Real and General Nakar, Province of Quezon.
- The extension office also serves people from the five (5) island municipalities of Polilio, Burdeos, Panukulan, Latnanungan and Jomalig.
- The covered island municipalities are identified as being in the First Congressional District of the Province of Quezon.
Funding and DOTr program inclusion
- The Secretary of the DOTr must include immediately in the DOTr program the operationalization of the LTO Extension Office in the Municipality of Infanta, Province of Quezon.
- The funding for the operationalization is required to be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
