Monitoring of Imported Radio Equipment

  • The Insular Collector of Customs must report imported radio sets, apparatus, or parts (except when consigned to bona fide dealers or communication companies) to the Department of National Defense.

Restrictions on Sale and Repair of Radio Apparatus

  • Sales or repairs of radio transmitters or parts to persons/entities require possession of a radio construction permit, station license, or Bureau of Internal Revenue registration certificate.

Penalties for Violations

  • Violations of rules and regulations may result in imprisonment up to ten years and/or fines up to ten thousand pesos per Commonwealth Act No. 600.

Immediate Effectivity

  • The Executive Order takes immediate effect upon issuance.
