Abolition of the Emergency Control Administration
- The Emergency Control Administration is formally abolished as of December 1, 1945.
- All functions, activities, funds, equipment, and personnel of the Emergency Control Administration are to be transferred to the PRRA.
Transfer and Liquidation Procedures
- The Auditor General is tasked with facilitating the immediate liquidation and settlement of obligations and accounts of the Emergency Control Administration.
- This ensures a smooth and accountable transition of resources and responsibilities to the PRRA.
Funding and Appropriation for PRRA
- In addition to transferred resources, a sum of one million pesos has been appropriated under Commonwealth Act 716 to support the organization and operation of the PRRA.
Legal and Administrative Formalities
- The Executive Order is signed by President Sergio Osmeña and Secretary to the President, Jose S. Reyes.
- The order is dated November 28, 1945, in Manila, during the eleventh year of the Philippine Commonwealth.
