Separation and new national high school
- Section 1 separates the Don Carlos Ledesma National High School-Extension at Euzkara, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental from the Don Carlos Ledesma National High School-Main at Buluangan, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
- Section 1 converts the separated extension into a separate and independent national high school.
- The new national high school is to be known as the Julio Ledesma National High School.
Rules and regulations for implementation
- Section 2 mandates the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS) to issue rules and regulations necessary to carry out the Act.
- Section 2 authorizes DECS to implement the Act through the issuance of implementing rules and regulations.
Transfer of personnel, assets, liabilities, and records
- Section 3 transfers and absorbs all personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Don Carlos Ledesma National High School-Extension into the Julio Ledesma National High School.
- Section 3 treats the transfer and absorption as a mandated consequence of the separation and conversion in Section 1.
Funding and appropriation charge
- Section 4 provides that the amount necessary for implementation shall be charged against the current year's appropriation of the Julio Ledesma National High School.
- Section 4 further provides that, thereafter, the needed funding shall be charged through the annual General Appropriations Act.
Effectivity
- Section 5 provides that the Act takes effect upon its approval.
