Funding Sources for Pay Adjustments

    • Compensation and Organizational Adjustment Fund.
    • Contingent Fund.
    • Other savings under Executive Order No. 87 (General Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 1987).
    • Any unappropriated funds of the National Treasury.
  • New salary rates to be incorporated in subsequent annual General Appropriations Acts for the AFP budget.

Effectivity and Supersession of Conflicting Laws

  • The Act takes effect on December 1, 1987, after publication in two newspapers of general circulation.
  • Overrides any law, executive order, or decree inconsistent with its provisions, except as noted in Section 4 regarding civilian employee pay.
