Plebiscite Conduct and Validation
- The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) conducted and supervised a plebiscite in Barangay San Vicente, pursuant to resolutions from the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Laguna.
- The plebiscite held on July 11, 2015, ratified the creation of the eight barangays as proclaimed by the Plebiscite Board of Canvassers.
- This plebiscite fulfills the legal requirement under Section 10 of Republic Act No. 7160 (Local Government Code of 1991) without need for further plebiscite.
Continuity of Incumbent Barangay Officials
- Existing barangay officials shall remain in office until their officially elected successors qualify.
