  • Disseminate information on DSWD services and related agencies.
  • Perform other social service-related tasks as directed by diplomatic post heads.

Institutional Arrangements and Responsibilities

  • Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD):
    • Designate qualified personnel as Social Welfare Attaches.
    • Provide salary, benefits, overseas allowances, and training.
    • Exercise technical supervision over deployed personnel.
    • Allocate funds for welfare service supervision.
  • Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA):
    • Facilitate accreditation and deployment requisites.
    • Assist in training and orientation of attaches.
