- Section 2 repeals, amends, or modifies Letter of Instructions No. 299 dated July 29, 1975, as far as inconsistent with this order.
- Section 2 also repeals, amends, or modifies all other Executive Orders, Letter of Instructions, and other Presidential issuances that are inconsistent with this Order.
- The repeal/amendment/modification is directed accordingly, to the extent of inconsistency with Executive Order No. 749.
