Procedure for Declaring Islamic Holidays
- Future proclamations for Eidul Fitr and Eidul Adha will be based on the Islamic calendar, lunar calendar, or astronomical calculations.
- The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) is tasked with informing the Office of the President about the exact dates.
Implementation and Effectivity
- The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) is responsible for issuing implementing guidelines for this Proclamation.
- The Proclamation takes effect immediately upon issuance.
- It must be published in a newspaper of general circulation to inform the public.
