- Eidul Adha declared a national holiday under RA No. 9849.

- February 25 commemorates the EDSA People Power Revolution's 34th anniversary, emphasizing its historic role in restoring democracy in the Philippines.
- Black Saturday recognized as a special non-working day in line with traditional observance of Holy Week.
- November 2 and December 24 declared as additional special non-working days to encourage family gatherings and promote domestic tourism.

Procedures for Islamic Holidays
- Proclamation dates for Eidul Fitr and Eidul Adha will be issued upon confirmation of Islamic calendar dates.
- The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) is tasked to inform the Office of the President of the actual dates of these holidays.
Implementation and Effectivity
- The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) to issue implementing guidelines for the observance of the declared holidays.
- The Proclamation takes effect immediately upon issuance.
- Requires publication in a newspaper of general circulation to inform the public.
