Acknowledges World Space Week observed globally every October 4 to 10, which promotes space science and international cooperation.
Seeks to localize a specific period aligned with Philippine space milestones rather than mirror the global schedule.

Designates August 8 to 14 annually as Philippine Space Week to coincide with the enactment date of the Philippine Space Act on August 8, 2019.
Intended to highlight the impact of space science and technology on Philippine socio-economic development.

Promote awareness and education on space science and technology among Filipinos.
Celebrate contributions of Filipinos worldwide in the space sector.
Emphasize the value and benefits derived from space-related applications.

Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA) tasked with promoting and organizing programs, projects, and activities during the week.
National government entities, including government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs) and state universities and colleges (SUCs), are enjoined to actively participate and support PhilSA efforts.
Local government units (LGUs), non-government organizations (NGOs), and the private sector are encouraged to assist in implementation.

Proclaimed by the President of the Philippines under constitutional and legal powers.
Mandates collaboration among various sectors to ensure effective observance and impact.
