Proclamation of Electrical Safety Month
- May of every year is officially declared as Electrical Safety Month by the President of the Philippines.
- This declaration is aimed at amplifying and reinforcing public consciousness on electrical safety.
Implementation and Coordination
- IIEE and BPS are tasked to conduct programs and activities on electrical safety throughout the year.
- These programs shall be coordinated with and subject to approval by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).
Legal Authority and Formalization
- The proclamation is issued under the powers vested in the President by law.
- The official act is signed and sealed, indicating formal government recognition and enforcement.
