Territorial Jurisdiction and Boundary Description
- The Port of Roxas is located in Barangay Dangay, Municipality of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro.
- The Order provides precise metes and bounds detailing the port zone's extent, covering an area of approximately 652,860 square meters.
- Boundary points are described by compass bearings and distances relative to landmarks such as the weigh bridge and backup areas.
Administrative Jurisdiction under PPA
- The delineated Roxas Port Zone is placed under the administrative jurisdiction of the Philippine Ports Authority.
- The PPA is mandated to implement programs for zoning, planning, development, and utilization of the port zone.
- Such activities shall align with government regional industrial plans to ensure coordinated development.
Repealing Clause
- Any previous issuances, orders, rules, or regulations inconsistent with this Executive Order are repealed, amended, or modified accordingly.
Separability Clause
- If any provision of the Order is declared invalid or unconstitutional, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable.
Effectivity
- The Order takes effect immediately upon its promulgation on February 14, 2014.
