Holiday declaration: Bacolod City Charter Day
- Section 1 declares June 18 of every year as a special nonworking holiday in the City of Bacolod.
- The holiday is known as “Bacolod City Charter Day.”
- Section 1 commemorates the day President Manuel L. Quezon signed and approved Commonwealth Act No. 326, creating the City of Bacolod.
- Section 1 provides a commemoration instruction: the inauguration of the City of Bacolod shall be commemorated every 19th of October.
- Section 1 provides a festival schedule instruction: the highlights of the Maskara Festival shall be held every 4th Sunday of October.
Repeal, modification, and consistency
- Section 2 repeals Republic Act No. 7724, titled “An Act Declaring October Nineteen Of Every Year A Special Nonworking Public Holiday In The City of Bacolod To Be Known As ‘Bacolod City Charter Day,”.
- Section 2 repeals, modifies, or amends accordingly any law, presidential decree or issuance, executive order, letter of instruction, administrative order, rule, or regulation that is contrary to or inconsistent with Republic Act No. 11146.
- Section 2 makes the repeal and adjustment effect operate to the extent of conflict with the provisions of Republic Act No. 11146.
