Role of the EDSA Commission
- The EDSA Commission, established under Executive Order No. 82 (1999), is tasked with planning and implementing proper ceremonies for Ninoy Aquino Day.

Funding and Financial Oversight
- The operations of the EDSA Commission are funded by the Office of the President’s budget and private donations.
- All funds received and expenses incurred by the Commission must comply with standard government accounting rules and procedures.
Repealing Clause
- Existing laws, presidential decrees, orders, rules, or regulations inconsistent with this Act are amended or modified to conform with its provisions.
Separability Clause
- If any provision of the Act is declared unconstitutional or invalid, the remaining provisions not affected shall continue to be in full force and effect.
Effectivity
- This Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in at least two newspapers of general circulation.
Legislative Approval and Promulgation
- The Act was consolidated from Senate Bill No. 2636 and House Bill No. 6240.
- It was passed by the Senate on November 18, 2003, and by the House of Representatives on January 26, 2004.
- The Act was approved by the President on February 25, 2004.
