Public and Private Sector Participation

  • All government agencies and instrumentalities are directed to submit lists of international and local events to the Department of Tourism through the Tourism Promotions Board for inclusion in the VPY 2015 Calendar of Events.
  • Government agencies must use the official VPY 2015 logo on all informational materials to aid in awareness and dissemination related to VPY 2015.
  • Philippine embassies, consular offices, Department of Trade and Industry, and Department of Tourism foreign offices are mandated to publicize and disseminate information about VPY 2015.
  • The Postmaster General is tasked with designing, printing, and issuing a special stamp commemorating VPY 2015.
  • The private sector, particularly travel, hospitality, transportation, retail, and restaurant industries, is encouraged to develop tour programs and packages catering to both foreign and local tourists.

Support of Government Agencies

  • All other national government departments, bureaus, offices, and Local Government Units (LGUs) are enjoined to provide full support and cooperation to the Department of Tourism in implementing this proclamation.

  • Agencies concerned are authorized to utilize funds from their current appropriations for the implementation of VPY 2015.
