Segregation and Use of Property

    • 351.1416 hectares for informal settler-families from danger areas affected by Typhoon Ondoy and future disasters.

Property Transfer and Administration

  • Within 30 days of the order’s effectivity, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and Department of Finance must facilitate the transfer of the property ownership to the National Housing Authority (NHA).
  • NHA will administer and manage the property as a housing and relocation site.

Funding and Financial Responsibilities

  • The NHA, with the Department of Budget and Management, must secure budgets to implement the housing and relocation projects.
  • The funding will cover site development, logistics, and other related costs.
  • The AFP, PNP, and Department of Education (DepEd) are responsible for providing funds from their savings to cover development and logistical costs.

Creation of an Executive Committee and Policy Formulation

  • An Executive Committee is established to oversee the implementation policies including beneficiary qualifications and payment schemes.
  • The committee includes the NHA General Manager as Chairperson and members from the Department of Social Welfare and Development, Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council, AFP, PNP, and DepEd.

Severability Clause

  • If any provision of this Executive Order is found unconstitutional, the remaining provisions continue to be effective as long as they can still operate independently.

Repealing Clause

  • All previous executive orders, rules, or regulations inconsistent with this order are revoked, amended, or modified accordingly.

Effectivity

  • The order takes immediate effect upon signing.
