Appropriation of Funds
- An amount of Nine Hundred Million Pesos (P900,000,000.00) is appropriated for the implementation of this Act.
- Funding will be included under the 2022 General Appropriations Act.
- The funds will come from the Health Facilities Enhancement Program (HFEP) of the DOH.
Rulemaking and Implementation
- The Secretary of Health is mandated to prepare and issue necessary rules and regulations.
- Rules and regulations must be issued within ninety (90) days from the effectivity of the Act.
- These rules shall ensure effective implementation of the Act.
- The rules must be consistent with the hospital development plan.
Severability Clause
- If any provision of the Act is declared unconstitutional, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable.
- This ensures that invalidation of any part does not affect the whole Act.
Repealing Clause
- All laws, executive orders, issuances, rules, or regulations inconsistent with the Act are repealed or modified accordingly.
- This clause ensures legal harmony and removes conflicting provisions.
Effectivity Clause
- The Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication.
- Publication can be in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
- This allows the public to be informed before the law becomes effective.
