Transfer of Personnel, Assets, and Records
- All personnel assigned to the former annex are transferred to Laureta National High School.
- All assets and liabilities related to the former annex are transferred and absorbed by Laureta National High School.
- Records of the annex are also transferred to the new independent school.
Appropriations and Funding
- The Secretary of Education is mandated to include the operationalization of Laureta National High School immediately in the Department of Education’s program.
- Initial funding shall be charged against the current year’s appropriations previously allocated to the Davao National High School - San Miguel Annex.
- Future funding necessary for the continued operation of the Laureta National High School shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Implementation of the Act
- The Secretary of Education is authorized to issue all necessary rules and regulations to effectively implement the provisions of this Act.
Effectivity of the Law
- The law shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
- This ensures a clear timeline for operational commencement and regulatory compliance.
