      • Must have operated in the Philippines for more than 10 years.

    • For Exporters:
      • Must have annual exports exceeding US $1 billion in merchandise or US $50 million in services.
    • Special Award:
      • Designed for a world-renowned corporation about to make a significant investment guaranteeing substantial financial inflow and long-term employment creation.

Eligible Recipients

  • Private business individuals or entities, whether foreign or local, can receive the award.
  • The citation recognizes exceptional contributions to the Philippine economic and development objectives.
  • The citation is bestowed upon the Chairman or Chief Executive Officer of the awardee's head office.
  • It typically marks significant corporate milestones.

Form of the Award

  • The Presidential Citation includes the President’s signature.

Implementation and Guidelines

  • The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) acts as the lead agency responsible for implementing the order.
