Corporate Existence and Election of Officials
- The Municipality of Binuangan shall attain corporate existence once the first set of municipal officials, specifically the mayor, vice mayor, and councilors, are duly elected and qualified during the next general elections for local officials.
- Until the election and qualification of these officials, the incumbent municipal officials from the mother municipality of Salay, who are assigned election duties as per the Revised Election Code, shall continue to hold office and manage administrative functions pertaining to the new municipality.
Effectivity of the Act
- The law providing for the creation of the Municipality of Binuangan shall take effect on January 1, 1968.
- This enactment was passed without the Executive's approval and was promulgated on June 15, 1968.
