Creation of Special Force for Palarong Pambansa '84

Vice-Chairman: Deputy Minister of Education, Culture & Sports (for Administration).
Members include:
- Regional Director, Region I, MECS.
- Regional Director, Region I, Ministry of Public Works and Highways (MPWH).
- Provincial Superintendent, Ilocos Norte.
- City Superintendent, Laoag City.
- City Mayor, Laoag City.
- Provincial Engineer, Ilocos Norte.
- City Engineer, Laoag City.
- Provincial Health Officer, Ilocos Norte.
- City Health Officer, Laoag City.
- Provincial Commander, Ilocos Norte.

To draw up plans and programs necessary for the successful conduct of the sports event.
To raise necessary funds for the development, updating, and maintenance of sports facilities where the Palarong Pambansa will be held.

The Letter of Instructions applies to all agencies of the national and local governments concerned with the Palarong Pambansa '84.
It takes effect immediately upon issuance.

Issued under the authority of the President of the Philippines at the time, Ferdinand E. Marcos.
Represents an exercise of executive power to coordinate inter-agency and local government efforts for a national sports event.

Inter-agency cooperation and coordination.
Allocation and mobilization of government resources for public events.
Establishment of a multi-sectoral task force with defined responsibilities and composition.
Immediate implementation directive to ensure timely preparations.
