Creation of Municipality of Tubo, Abra

Section 2 provides that the Municipality of Tubo acquires corporate existence upon the election and qualification of the first mayor, vice-mayor, and councilors.
Section 2 requires that the election and qualification occur in the next general elections for local officials.
Section 2 directs that, for election purposes, the municipal officials of the mother municipality shall hold office and perform the election duties.
Section 2 states that the election duties of the mother municipality’s officials shall be in accordance with the Revised Election Code.
Section 2 provides that those mother municipality officials shall hold office until the first Tubo officials have been elected and qualified.

Section 3 establishes that Republic Act No. 5161 takes effect upon its approval.
The Act was enacted without Executive approval, on June 17, 1967.
