Establishment of Corporate Existence and Governance

The Municipality of Tubo shall acquire corporate existence upon the election and qualification of its first set of local officials.
The officials to be elected include the mayor, vice-mayor, and councilors.
The election of these officials will take place during the next general elections for local officials following the enactment of the Act.
Until the new officials are elected and qualified, the municipal officials of the mother municipality will continue to hold office and perform election duties in accordance with the Revised Election Code.

Effectivity of the Act

The law takes effect immediately upon its approval.
Notably, the Act was enacted without the approval of the Executive Branch on June 17, 1967.
