Corporate Existence and Governance
- The Municipality of Silago shall gain legal existence upon the election and qualification of its first set of municipal officials: mayor, vice-mayor, and councilors.
- These officials are to be elected during the next scheduled general elections for local officials following the enactment of the law.
- Until the new municipal officials are elected and qualified, the municipal officials of the mother municipality, Hinunangan, will continue to hold office and manage election duties as prescribed by the Revised Election Code.
Effectivity
- The law takes effect immediately upon its approval.
- The act was enacted without the President's executive approval on June 21, 1969, indicating legislative passage despite the absence of executive sanction.
