Creation of San Jose Municipality, Negros Oriental

Section 1 separates the listed barrios and sitios from the former Municipality of Amlan in the Province of Negros Oriental.
Section 1 creates a new municipality to be known as the Municipality of San Jose.
Section 1 fixes the seat of government at the site of the present barrio of Ayuquitan.

Section 1 includes the barrios of Ayuquitan, Basak, Cambaloctot, Calo, Cancawas, Hanay-Hanay, Jilocon, Lala-an, Naiba, Tapon Norte, Tampi.
Section 1 includes the sitios Guinsayawan, Kang-atid, Kangdajonog, Guilongsoran and Kaputihanan of the barrio of Siapo.
Section 1 provides that these areas formerly belonged to the former Municipality of Ayuquitan and are now part of the Municipality of Amlan.

Section 2 provides that the first mayor of the new municipality shall be appointed by the President of the Philippines alone.
