Seat of Government

Ratification and Appointment of Officials

- Upon ratification, the President appoints the first set of municipal officials including mayor and vice mayor
Plebiscite Organization and Funding
- Commission on Elections (COMELEC) responsible for conducting and supervising the plebiscite
- Expenses related to the plebiscite to be charged to local funds
Effectivity
- The Act takes effect immediately upon its approval
