Creation of Municipality of Quezon
- Section 1 separates and constitutes specified barrios and sitios into the Municipality of Quezon.
- Section 1 includes the barrios and sitios of Nanapan (Pontian), Sta. Cruz, Dilapa, Kiburiao, Mibantang and Cebole from the Municipality of Maramag (with Nanapan (Pontian), Sta. Cruz, Dilapa, Kiburiao, Mibantang and Cebole later noted as annexed by the Municipality of Dangcagan).
- Section 1 includes the barrios of Salwagan, Manoto, San Jose, Kiokong, Paitan, Lumintao and Kulaman from the Municipality of Maramag.
- Section 1 establishes that these areas are “separated from their respective mother municipalities” and become a “new and separate municipality.”
- Section 1 names the resulting local government as the Municipality of Quezon.
Local officials election timing
- Section 2 governs the election of the first municipal leadership for the newly created Municipality of Quezon.
- Section 2 provides that the first mayor, vice-mayor, and councilors shall be elected in the nineteen hundred and sixty-seven general elections for local officials.
- Section 2 establishes that no other election schedule is used for the first officials of the Municipality of Quezon.
