Territorial Boundaries and Area
- Northern boundary: Latitude 8° 20' 00", adjoining Katipunan, Dipolog, and Dapitan municipalities.
- Eastern boundary: The provincial boundary between Misamis Occidental and Zamboanga.
- Southern boundary: Latitude 8° 0' 00", adjoining Aurora, Pagadian, and Margosatubig municipalities.
- Western boundary: Longitude 123° 10' 00", adjoining Sindangan, Labason, and Kabasalan municipalities.
- Total area approximated at nine hundred square kilometers.
Appointment and Tenure of Initial Officials
- The President of the Philippines is mandated to appoint the initial elective officials of Molave upon the law's approval or as soon as possible thereafter.
- These appointed officials will hold office until duly elected successors assume office following the next general elections.
Designation as Provincial Capital
- Molave is designated as the capital of the Province of Zamboanga.
- A proviso allows Dipolog to remain the provincial capital temporarily until appropriate provincial government buildings are constructed in Molave.
Effectivity
- The Act takes effect immediately upon approval on June 16, 1948.
