Seat of Government
- The seat of government for the newly created municipality is designated as Barangay Karungdong.
Boundary Definition and Conflict Resolution
- The boundary between Luuk and Kalingalan Caluang runs generally west to east along the national road from Barangay Tayuman to Barangay Kan-muni.
- Barangays and sitios north of this road belong to Luuk, those south belong to Kalingalan Caluang.
- Despite the boundary, the entire land area of Barangay Tigbas is included within Kalingalan Caluang.
Application of Law
- All existing and future laws applicable to regular municipalities apply equally to Kalingalan Caluang unless specifically provided otherwise.
Jurisdiction of Luuk Officials
- Officials of the Municipality of Luuk continue to exercise jurisdiction over the barangays and sitios not included in Kalingalan Caluang upon the decree's effectiveness.
Appointment of Officials in Kalingalan Caluang
- All officials of the new municipality are appointed by the President of the Philippines.
- These officials serve until successors are elected in regular local elections or until removal by the President.
- Additional appointive officers and employees necessary to organize the municipal government may be appointed according to existing laws.
Transfer of Assets and Liabilities
- Upon effectiveness, Kalingalan Caluang receives a proportionate share of obligations, funds, assets, and property from the Municipality of Luuk.
- Transfer of these resources occurs based on recommendations from the Commission on Audit and order of the President.
Repealing Clause
- Any laws or executive orders inconsistent with this decree are repealed or modified accordingly.
Effectivity
- The decree takes effect immediately upon issuance.
