Composition and Leadership

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Identification of priority areas requiring assistance from the Islamic Conference.
- Communication of these priorities and assistance needs to the Islamic Conference via the Department of Foreign Affairs.
- Coordination of national resources to support the identified priority areas.
- Administration and utilization of Islamic Conference assistance within these areas.
- Monitoring and reporting progress of relief and development efforts.
- Continuous updates to the Islamic Conference through proper diplomatic channels about the status of aid application and development.
Secretariat and Operational Support
- Tasking the Presidential Task Force for the Rehabilitation and Development of Muslim Mindanao as the agency's secretariat.
- The secretariat role includes administrative and operational support to the agency.
Legal Authority
- The agency’s creation is under the President’s constitutional powers.
- Provides a structured approach to optimize foreign assistance for Filipino Muslims.
