  • Review imported material utilization against approved manufacturing formulas.
  • Examine export documentation to verify exportation and recommend bond cancellations and liquidation of entries.
  • Maintain organized records of all supervised entities.
  • Submit periodic operational reports as required.
  • Perform other functions aligned with its responsibilities.

Organizational Structure and Staffing

  • Led by a Customs Operations Chief, reporting through the Deputy District Collector of Operations to the District Collector of Customs, Port of Manila.
  • Supported by an Assistant Chief.
  • District Collector to assign sufficient personnel including document processors, CBW officers, storekeepers, and guards for effective operation.

Transfer and Jurisdiction Over Common Bonded Warehouses

  • All existing common bonded warehouses registered with the Port of Manila transferred to this division, barring exceptions by the Commissioner.
  • Operational records, including logbooks, transferred from Miscellaneous Manufacturing Bonded Warehouse and Garments Textile Manufacturing Bonded Warehouse Divisions.
  • Customs personnel assigned to these warehouses are transferred alongside to ensure continuity.
  • New applications for common bonded warehouses to be filed directly with this division.

Effectivity of the Administrative Order

  • Order becomes effective upon approval by the Secretary of Finance.
  • Formal adoption date and signatures of the Commissioner of Customs and Secretary of Finance included to validate enactment.
