Republic Act No. 680 establishes the Bureau of Agricultural Extension in the Philippines to disseminate practical and scientific information on agriculture, animal husbandry, fishery, soil conservation, forestry, and mines, with the aim of promoting the application of this knowledge through various means of imparting information.

    • the National Office,
    • the District Offices, and
    • the salaries of the Provincial Agricultural Agents and Provincial Home Demonstration Agents as specified in the Act
      be allocated to the Agricultural Fund of each province.
