Applicability of Laws to Barangay San Isidro
- All laws currently or hereafter applicable to regular barangays are deemed applicable to Barangay San Isidro.
- This ensures that Barangay San Isidro is subject to the same legal framework, rights, duties, and obligations as other barangays.
Initial Governance and Appointment of Officials
- The incumbent elective barangay officials of Barangay San Dionisio continue to perform duties in the newly created Barangay San Isidro until new appointments are made.
- The President shall appoint barangay officials for Barangay San Isidro who shall hold office until successors are elected in the regular barangay elections and qualified.
- These appointees may be removed at the President's pleasure.
- Additional appointive officers and employees necessary for the full organization of Barangay San Isidro may also be appointed under existing laws.
Transfer of Assets, Obligations, and Properties
- Upon the effectivity of the decree, Barangay San Isidro shall receive its rightful proportionate share of obligations, funds, assets, and other properties from Barangay San Dionisio.
- The transfer will be executed by the President based on the recommendation of the Commission on Audit.
Repeal and Modification of Inconsistent Laws
- All laws, executive orders, or regulations inconsistent with this decree are repealed or modified accordingly.
Effectivity
- The decree takes immediate effect upon its issuance, ensuring the prompt creation and establishment of Barangay San Isidro.
