Geographic coverage and boundaries
- Section 2 defines the territorial coverage of Barangay Muntindilaw.
- Section 2 states that the barangay area is bounded by NaBulao Creek, Barangay Mambugan, EaVictoria Valley Avenue, SaMunicipalities of Taytay and Cainta, and WaMunicipality of Cainta.
Ratification through plebiscite
- Section 3 requires ratification by the majority of the votes cast in a plebiscite.
- Section 3 provides that the plebiscite must be conducted in the area affected.
- Section 3 sets a deadline for the plebiscite: it must be conducted within one hundred twenty days from the approval of this Act.
Appointment of first barangay officials
- Section 3 authorizes the President of the Philippines to appoint the first officials of Barangay Muntindilaw after plebiscite ratification.
- Section 3 provides that the first appointed officials hold office until their successors shall have been elected and qualified in the next regular barangay election.
Conduct, supervision, and plebiscite expenses
- Section 4 designates the Commission on Elections to conduct and supervise the plebiscite.
- Section 4 provides that the expenses for such plebiscite are charged to the appropriations of the Commission on Elections in the current annual General Appropriations Act for plebiscites.
Effectivity
- Section 5 provides that the Act shall take effect upon its approval.
