Creation of Barangay Don Bosco in Paranaque

Section 1 detaches and separates the subdivisions known as Better-living, Aero Park, Scienceville, and Levitown in Barangay La Huerta, in the Municipality of Parañaque, Metro Manila.
Section 1 establishes these detached subdivisions as a distinct and independent barangay.
Section 1 names the new barangay Barangay Don Bosco.
Section 1 states that the creation of Barangay Don Bosco does not affect in any manner the legal existence of the mother barangay (Barangay La Huerta).

Section 2 applies to Barangay Don Bosco all provisions of law that are applicable to regular barangays.

Section 3 keeps the present elective barangay officials of Barangay La Huerta performing their duties as officials in the newly created Barangay Don Bosco.
Section 3 provides that these officials continue until the barangay officials of said barangay shall have been appointed by the President.
Section 3 states that appointed barangay officials hold office until their successors shall have been elected in the regular elections for barangay officials following the issuance of the decree and shall have qualified.
Section 3 allows appointed officials to be removed sooner at the pleasure of the President.
Section 3 requires that any necessary appointive officers and employees to organize or complete the government personnel of Barangay Don Bosco be appointed as provided for under existing laws.

Section 4 requires that upon the effectivity of the decree, the proportionate share of Barangay Don Bosco in the obligations, funds, assets, and other property of Barangay La Huerta be transferred.
Section 4 vests the transfer action with the President.
Section 4 requires the transfer be made upon the recommendation of the Commission on Audit.

Section 5 repeals or modifies all laws or parts of laws, and all executive orders or regulations, that are inconsistent with the decree.
Section 6 provides that the decree takes effect immediately upon issuance/effectivity.
