Technical staff and assistance mechanisms

  • The Committee is assisted by a Technical Staff composed of employees from the different agencies represented in the Committee.
  • The Fiscal Policy Staff of the Budget Commission serves as the nucleus of the Technical Staff.
  • The Committee may call upon any department, bureau, office, agency, or instrumentality of the Government for assistance needed for its functions.
  • The Committee must likewise call on an advisory group consisting of representatives from agencies with related functions, including:
    • Bureau of Internal Revenue
    • Bureau of Customs
    • University of the Philippines
    • Joint Legislative-Executive Tax Commission
    • Congressional Committee on Appropriations and Ways and Means

Effectivity

  • Executive Order No. 232 takes immediate effect upon issuance.
