Geographic boundaries and territorial delimitation
- The Municipality of Surabay is defined by specific boundaries starting at a reference point at the center of the mouth of Buluan River.
- The boundary runs along the shoreline of Sibuguey Bay to the center of the mouth of Tigbawang River.
- It then runs due west for 15,000 meters to point a3a.
- It then runs N 53-00 E following the municipal boundary of Ipil and Titay for 31,700 meters to point a4a.
- It then runs due south back to the mouth of Buluan River, which is point a1a.
- The technical description reference is based on submission by the Office of the Highway District Engineer of Zamboanga del Sur using a map of the proposed municipality of Surabay with a scale of 1:100,000, kept on file in the office referenced in the order.
Effects on existing municipalities
- The Municipality of Ipil retains its present territory minus the portions included in the territory of the Municipality of Surabay as delimited.
- The Municipality of Tungawan retains its present territory minus the portions included in the territory of the Municipality of Surabay as delimited.
