Functions of the Committee

  • Recommends the composition of the Philippine delegation to the President through the Secretary of Foreign Affairs.
  • Manages all materials related to UNCTAD, including receiving, compiling, collating, and disseminating data and documents.
  • Engages in all other activities designed to enhance the effectiveness of the country's involvement in UNCTAD.

  • Authorized to establish technical committees as necessary to fulfill its functions.
  • May directly request assistance from any executive branch department, bureau, office, or government-owned or controlled entities.
