- Composed of the southern portion of the municipality of Jimenez, Misamis Occidental.
- Northern boundary starts from the center of the lighthouse on Tabo-o Point, with specific measured points linking natural and political boundaries.
- Western boundary aligns with the current Misamis Occidental-Zamboanga provincial boundary.
- Southern boundary defined by the Jimenez-Tudela boundary.
- Eastern boundary defined by municipal waters under Section 2321 of the Revised Administrative Code.

Included Barrios and Sites
- Municipality includes the barrios of Sinacaban (official municipal seat), Sinonoc, Libertad, and southern portion of Macabayao.
- Also comprises sitios: Tipan, Katipunan, Estrella, Flores, Senior, Adorable, San Isidro, Cagayanon, Kamanse, Kulupan, and Libertad Alto.
Territorial Adjustment to Jimenez Municipality
- Territory of Jimenez is reduced by the area forming Sinacaban municipality.
- Jimenez retains all other parts of its original territory.
Conditions for Establishment
- Municipality of Sinacaban becomes effective upon:
- Appointment and qualification of the mayor.
- Appointment and qualification of the vice-mayor.
- Appointment and qualification of a majority of the municipal councilors.
Financial Obligations
- Sinacaban assumes a proportionate share of the outstanding loans of Jimenez municipality with the Rehabilitation Finance Corporation.
- Proportion to be determined by the Department of Finance.
Formal Enactment
- Order signed by President Elpidio Quirino and Executive Secretary Teodoro Evangelista.
- Date of effectivity: August 30, 1949.
