Geographical Boundaries of Linamon
- The municipality's boundaries start from the mouth of Linamon River on Iligan Bay, which is also the boundary between Kauswagan and Iligan City.
- It extends westward along the seashore to the mouth of Larapan River.
- The boundary then follows upstream the Larapan River to the intersection with a straight line from M.B.M. No. 3 to M.B.M. No. 2.
- Eastward in a straight line passing through M.B.M. Nos. 3 and 4 to the west bank of the Agus River, which is the boundary between Kauswagan, Matungao municipal district, and Iligan City.
- The boundary follows downstream the course of the Agus River to its junction with the Linamon River, then downstream along Linamon River back to Iligan Bay.

Impact on the Municipality of Kauswagan
- The municipality of Kauswagan retains its territory except for the portion now belonging to Linamon.

Conditions for the Municipality of Linamon to Become Effective
- The municipality will officially come into existence only after the appointment and qualification of its mayor, vice-mayor, and a majority of councilors.
- Certification by the Secretary of Finance is required to confirm that Linamon is financially capable of:
- Implementing the provisions of the Minimum Wage Law.
- Fulfilling all statutory obligations.
- Providing ordinary essential municipal services.
- Additional certification must confirm that the mother municipality, Kauswagan, can still:
- Maintain a creditable municipal government after the segregation.
- Meet all statutory and contractual obligations.
- Provide essential municipal services post-segregation.
Legal Authority and Execution
- The creation of Linamon is pursuant to Section 68 of the Revised Administrative Code and upon the recommendation of the Provincial Board of Lanao del Norte.
- The Executive Order takes effect from its signing on January 13, 1960.
- The order is signed by the President of the Philippines and the Assistant Executive Secretary, formalizing the legal creation of the municipality.
