Conditions for Operationalization
- The municipality of Lantapan comes into existence only upon:
- Appointment and qualification of the Mayor, Vice-Mayor, and majority of the municipal councilors.
- Certification from the Secretary of Finance regarding the financial capability of Lantapan to fulfill all statutory obligations and provide essential municipal services.
- Financial soundness of Malaybalay post-segregation, ensuring it can maintain governance, meet obligations, and provide services.
Effectivity and Legal Formalization
- The Executive Order took effect on October 1, 1964, upon signing by the President.
- Formalized in Manila with signatures of the President and the Acting Assistant Executive Secretary.
This Executive Order provides the legal framework and procedural conditions for the establishment of the Municipality of Lantapan in Bukidnon, ensuring viable governance and service delivery in both the new and mother municipalities.
