Creation of Magsaysay Municipal District

The order creates the municipal district of Magsaysay in Lanao del Norte.
The municipal district consists of specified barrios and sitios drawn from the municipalities of Kolambugan, Tubod, and Tangcai.
The seat of government of the municipal district is set at the barrio of Bago-Ingud.
The order provides the legal territorial boundaries for the municipal district of Magsaysay.

From the Municipality of Kolambugan, the municipal district includes: Bago-Ingud, Tambacon, Somiarang, Maitowato, Lemoncret, Olango, Taguitingan, Tawinian, Ilihan, Sulaman, Rarab, Pinalingco, Lumbac, Mapantao.
From the Municipality of Tubod, the municipal district includes: Baguiguicon.
From the Municipality of Tangcai, the municipal district includes: Pangao, Pilingkingan, Labo, Malabaogan, Lawigdato, Matungao.
The order expressly ties the municipal district’s composition to these named local units.

The municipal district boundaries begin at Point 1, at the abandoned tunnel passage of the railway of the Finlay Miller Timber Company on the Titunod River.
The boundaries then follow the Titunod River upstream to its source at Lobo (Point 2).
The boundaries then run by an imaginary straight line to the source of the Bulot River at Matungao water falls (Point 3).
The boundaries then follow the Bulod River downstream until it intersects the municipal boundaries of Kolambugan and the municipal district of Tangcai (Point 4).
The boundaries then follow the municipal boundary to the intersection of the boundaries of Kolambugan, Tubod, and the municipal district of Tangcai (Point 5).
The boundaries then follow the municipal boundaries of Kolambugan and Tubod until it intersects the Bulod River (Point 6).
The boundaries then follow the Bulod River downstream to the meeting point of the Baguiguicon and Bulod Rivers (Point 7).
The boundaries then run by an imaginary straight line passing thru the peak of Mt. Taguitingon back to Point 1 at the abandoned tunnel passage on the Titunod River.
The order uses the boundary data “based on the map” showing the proposed municipal district boundaries prepared by the Office of the Highway District Engineer of Lanao del Norte, submitted and on file in the appropriate office.

Kolambugan and Tubod each retain their territories minus the portions included in the municipal district of Magsaysay, as delimited above.
The municipal district of Tangcai retains its territories minus the portions included in the municipal district of Magsaysay, as delimited above.
