Territorial Composition

- Municipality of Kolambugan (14 barrios/sitios listed)
- Municipal District of Tubod (Baguiguicon)
- Municipal District of Tangcal (6 barrios/sitios listed)
Seat of Government
- The seat of government is designated at the barrio of Bago-Ingud.
Boundary Description
- Detailed geographical boundaries described using natural landmarks:
- Starting point: abandoned railway tunnel passage on Titunod River.
- Follow Titunod River upstream to Lobo.
- Imaginary straight line to source of Bulot River at Matungao waterfalls.
- Follow Bulod River downstream to intersection with Kolambugan and Tangcal boundaries.
- Follow municipal boundaries of Kolambugan, Tubod, and Tangcal.
- Return via imaginary line passing Mt. Taguitingon peak to the starting point.
- Boundary map prepared and validated by the Office of the Highway District Engineer of Lanao del Norte.
Effect on Parent Municipalities
- Municipalities of Kolambugan and Tubod, and the municipal district of Tangcal, will have their territories reduced by the areas included in Magsaysay.
Organic Operation and Functionality
- The municipal district of Magsaysay shall legally begin to exist upon:
- Appointment and qualification of its local officials:
- Mayor
- Vice-Mayor
- Majority of the councilors
- Appointment and qualification of its local officials:
Executive Authority
- The creation is formalized through an executive order signed by the President of the Philippines and countersigned by the Executive Secretary.
- Date of effectivity: March 22, 1960.
