Creation of SM City North EDSA IT Park

Republic Act No. 7916 (“Special Economic Zone Act of 1995”), as amended by Republic Act No. 8748, provides the legal authority for creating and designating the IT Park.
The land is created and designated subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916, as amended, and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.
The designation is also made subject to PEZA Board of Directors Resolution No. 00-411 (s. 2000), as amended by PEZA Board of Directors Resolution Nos. 04-295 (s. 2004) and 14-665 (s. 2014).
The Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) makes the recommendation that supports the proclamation.

The proclamation creates and designates the designated parcel of land as an Information Technology Park.
The IT Park is created pursuant to Republic Act No. 7916 and Republic Act No. 8748.
The IT Park designation binds the land to the regime and requirements of Republic Act No. 7916, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the PEZA board resolutions cited.

The IT Park is located at EDSA corner North Avenue, Quezon City.
The IT Park covers a parcel of land with an area of Twenty-Six Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-One square meters (26,741 m²), more or less.
The parcel is covered by TCT No. 118507, described as a portion of Lot 1 of the subdivision plan (LRC) Psd-104291.
The parcel is situated in the Barangay of Diliman, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Island of Luzon.
The proclamation provides specific boundary descriptions:
- Bounded on the NE. along line 7-1 by Road Lot 2 of subdivision plan Bsd-11019.
- Bounded on the SE. along line 1-2 by Block 22 (New) of subdivision plan Bsd-11495.
- Bounded on the SW. along lines 2-4 by Lot 1 and Lot 2, both of subdivision plan (LRC) Psd-104291.
- Bounded on the NW. along lines 4-7 by Lot 1 of subdivision plan (LRC) Psd-104291.
The proclamation supplies a metes-and-bounds survey beginning at a point marked “1” and stating distances and bearings that result in the stated area of 26,741 m², more or less.

The parcel is designated as an Information Technology Park known as SM City North EDSA Complex.
The designation applies to the specific land parcel described by TCT No. 118507 and its metes-and-bounds technical description.
The IT Park designation is expressly made subject to the legal framework of Republic Act No. 7916 and its amendments, and the referenced PEZA rules and resolutions.
