  • Monitors and evaluates government progress using key performance indicators related to hunger, food security, nutrition, and sustainable agriculture.
  • Establishes technical working groups among member agencies to address specific implementation concerns.
  • Prepares and submits annual reports to the President on hunger status, food security, nutrition, and agricultural production including Task Force initiatives and recommendations.
  • Executes additional functions as directed by the President.

Secretariat Support

  • Constitutes a Secretariat composed of personnel from Task Force member agencies.
  • Provides administrative, operational, and technical assistance to the Task Force.

Support from Other Government Agencies and Local Government Units

  • The Task Force may enlist support from other government agencies and instrumentalities.
  • Local government units are encouraged to assist in implementing the Order.

Funding

  • Initial funding comes from the current appropriations of member agencies.
  • Subsequent budget needs are incorporated into the annual budget proposals of the agencies concerned.

Miscellaneous Provisions

  • Separability Clause: If any provision is invalidated, the rest of the Order remains effective.
  • Repeals or amends previous orders and issuances inconsistent with this Order.
  • The Order takes effect immediately upon issuance.
