Territorial Boundaries and Technical Description
- Barangay 201 is bounded:
- Northwest by Zone 16 and Zone 19.
- Northeast by the City of Makati (Cad-571-D) and South Luzon Expressway, City of Taguig (Cad-590-D).
- Southeast, South, West and Southwest by City of Parañaque (Cad-299-D).
- The territorial area covers approximately 857.6168 hectares.
- Includes a contested area of about 13.9228 hectares between Pasay City and Parañaque City.
- The area remains under the jurisdiction of the local government pending resolution of boundary disputes.
Conduct and Supervision of Plebiscite
- The plebiscite held on June 8, 1997, supervised by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), validated the creation of Barangay 201.
- Compliance with Section 10 of RA 7160 (Local Government Code of 1991) is considered substantial through this plebiscite.
Incumbent Barangay Officials
- Current barangay officials of Barangay 201 shall continue in office until successors are duly elected and qualified.
Public Infrastructure and Facilities
- All existing public infrastructure and public-use facilities are transferred to Barangay 201 without cost or compensation.
- Barangay 201 will administer these infrastructures and facilities.
Internal Revenue Allotment Shares
- Barangay 201 is entitled to receive Internal Revenue Allotment (IRA) shares pursuant to Section 285 of the Local Government Code of 1991.
Effectivity
- The Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation.
