Increase in Bed Capacity
- The hospital's authorized bed capacity is increased from 25 beds to 100 beds.

Upgrade of Health Care Services and Facilities
- The existing professional health care services and facilities shall be upgraded.
- The upgrades must correspond to the increased bed capacity.
- The goal is to ensure health care services and facilities are adequate for the larger hospital capacity.
Increase in Medical Personnel
- The Department of Health (DOH) shall coordinate with the Department of Budget and Management and the Civil Service Commission.
- This coordination aims to determine the additional plantilla (staff) positions needed.
- The creation and filling of these positions shall be done after consultation with the Chief of Hospital.
Appropriation and Implementation
- The Secretary of Health is mandated to incorporate the implementation of this Act into the Department of Health’s program immediately.
- Funding for the implementation of the Act shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Separability Clause
- If any provision of the Act is declared unconstitutional or invalid, the other provisions not affected shall remain in full force and effect.
Repealing Clause
- All laws, decrees, executive orders, rules, regulations, or parts thereof inconsistent or contrary to this Act are amended, repealed, or modified accordingly.
Effectivity Clause
- The Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication.
- Publication must be in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation.
