Transfer of School Resources
- All personnel currently employed at San Rafael National High School shall be transferred to and absorbed by the newly established San Rafael Technological and Vocational High School.
- All assets and liabilities of the original school are likewise transferred to the new school.
- Official school records will also be transferred to the new institution.
Funding and Operationalization
- The Secretary of Education is mandated to include San Rafael Technological and Vocational High School in the Department of Education's programs immediately.
- Initial operational funding shall be sourced from the current year's appropriations previously allocated to the San Rafael National High School.
- Subsequent funding requirements for the school's continued operation will be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Rule-making Authority
- The Secretary of Education has the authority and responsibility to develop and issue the necessary rules and regulations to implement this Act effectively.
Effectivity Clause
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication.
- Publication may be made either in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
Legislative Process and Approval
- The Act originated in the House of Representatives and was passed by the House on December 13, 2016.
- The Senate passed the Act on December 11, 2017.
- It was finally signed and approved by the President of the Philippines on March 6, 2018.
