Transfer of Personnel, Assets, Liabilities, and Records
- All personnel previously assigned to the Pangangan High School Calape Annex are transferred to the new Calape National High School.
- All assets associated with the annex become the property of Calape National High School.
- Liabilities linked to the annex are also transferred and absorbed by Calape National High School.
- Official records maintained by the annex are likewise transferred to Calape National High School.
Appropriations and Funding
- The Secretary of Education is mandated to include the operationalization of Calape National High School in the Department of Education’s program immediately.
- Initial funding for the school shall be charged against the current year’s appropriations originally allocated to the Pangangan High School Calape Annex.
- Subsequent funding requirements for the ongoing operations of Calape National High School shall be incorporated into the annual General Appropriations Act.
Implementation and Regulatory Authority
- The Secretary of Education is authorized and obliged to issue necessary rules and regulations to effectively implement and carry out the provisions of this Act.
Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
- The enactment formalizes the operational independence of the school, ensuring its integration within the national education system.
Legislative Process and Approval
- The Act originated in the House of Representatives and was passed by the House and Senate on September 2, 2008 and August 26, 2009 respectively.
- The President of the Philippines approved the Act on November 26, 2009, thus enacting it into law.
