Authority to Issue Implementing Rules and Regulations
- The Secretary of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) is mandated to promulgate the necessary rules and regulations for the effective implementation of this Act.
- This includes administrative and operational guidelines to ensure a smooth transition and functioning.
Operationalization and Funding Provisions
- The Secretary of Transportation shall immediately integrate the operationalization of the new regular district office in Medellin into the Department's programs.
- Initial funding shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the LTO Medellin Extension Office.
- Subsequent funding requirements shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act to ensure sustained operation.
Effectivity Clause
- The Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days following its publication either in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation.
- This provision ensures timely dissemination and implementation of the law following its enactment.
