Transfer of Personnel, Assets, Liabilities, and Records
- All personnel currently employed at Baclayon High School will be transferred and absorbed by Baclayon National High School.
- All assets and liabilities belonging to Baclayon High School shall likewise be transferred to the new national high school.
- Records of the former Baclayon High School are also transferred to Baclayon National High School.
Appropriations and Funding
- The Secretary of Education is mandated to include Baclayon National High School in the Department of Education's programs without delay.
- The initial funding required for operationalization shall be taken from the current year's appropriations for the former Baclayon High School.
- Subsequent funding for the continued operation will be provided through the annual General Appropriations Act.
Rulemaking and Implementation
- The Secretary of Education is empowered to issue necessary rules and regulations to implement the provisions of this Act.
- These rules are meant to ensure smooth transition and effective operation of the Baclayon National High School.
Effectivity of the Act
- The law shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
- This ensures public notice and official enactment of the Act.
Legislative and Executive Approval
- The Act was passed by the House of Representatives and Senate on September 2, 2008 and August 26, 2009, respectively.
- It was signed into law by the President of the Philippines on November 26, 2009.
